We held the annual kickoff meeting of the SSI Coalition – Sport for Social Impact, which כיום brings together 36 organizations working collaboratively to advance the field of social sport in Israel.
The meeting focused on one of the program’s core goals: strengthening the social sport ecosystem in Israel. Participants explored practical pathways for deepening collaboration, developing funding opportunities, and expanding joint action on the ground.
As in every gathering, we were inspired by two insightful talks:
The first, by Ofir Wegman, Head of the Sports Authority at the Tel Aviv–Yafo Municipality, who shared insights on advancing municipal sports and integrating social values into the city’s sports initiatives;
The second, by Alon Granot, Head of Budgeting and Regulation at the Olympic Committee of Israel, who presented the current funding landscape and opportunities within the Israeli sports sector.
We are excited to embark on another year of collaboration, social impact, and true sporting spirit.
